All models, marked SI.DEL. They are made to test at the laboratories for Fire Resistance, which issue the appropriate certification as to the performance of each port. This certification is required to obtain approval from the Ministry of the Interior for use categories of individual types of doors and gates. Safety is certified. The certification tests determine the strength characteristics of an element subjected to the action of fire in time determined, according to an established technical program. They are distinguished in two types: RE or REI.
R = Fire Stability, namely the preservation of mechanical resistance to the action of heat.
E = Flame resistance, or the ability to not let pass nor produce flames, vapors or hot gases in the side not exposed to fire.
I = Thermal insulation, that is, the persistence, within a given limit the transmission of heat.
